What You Need to Know About Move-In
Students moving in on September 4 or September 8:
- ONLY students moving in on September 4 or September 8 will receive a move-in barcode. This barcode will be sent to your Rider email on August 31 and is used to check in.
- If you are not emailed a barcode it means that you are not Rider Ready and will not be permitted to move in until your requirements are resolved.
Early Move-In Students:
If you are approved for an early move-in date other than September 4 or September 8, you are considered an early move in student and will NOT need a barcode to move in.
- However, you MUST still be Rider Ready before you can receive your room key.
- Summer Students Moving into Fall Assignments on August 19:
If you are currently living on campus for the summer and have not completed all three Rider Ready requirements, you will need to resolve your outstanding requirements before your fall room key will be issued to you. - Students who are not Rider Ready will be required to leave campus until they become compliant and will not be issued a room key on August 19, our Summer Move-Over Day.
Not Rider Ready When You Arrive?
