- Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Summer Institute Academy*
July 5 - August 12 – The six-week program prepares firstyear EOP students to succeed in college, introducing them to the skills and resources necessary for academic and professional success. The program includes two courses for credit, seminars focused on leadership development and financial literacy, cultural excursions and mentoring support. Mandatory program open only to EOP students. - TRIO Student Support Services Summer Math Bridge Program*
July 6 - August 14 – First-year students accepted into the Student Support Services (SSS) Program are eligible to participate in a virtual, six-week intensive to enhance their quantitative skills for academic success. The program offers a structured learning community and includes both group instruction and individual tutoring.
August 23-29 – Join fellow first-year Broncs in Rome for a week of cultural discovery including guided tours, a day trip to Florence, a cooking class and more. The experience also includes a stop at John Cabot University (Rider's study abroad location) and an Italian luxury company to learn more about branding, operations and product development.- All Broncs BELONG Alliance Kick-Start Extended Weekend*
August 26-29 – First-year Broncs can move in early and participate in a four-day program filled with team-building and leadership-development activities, excursions to cultural destinations, opportunities to explore campus resources and enriching experiences that foster personal and academic growth, and a sense of belonging within our diverse community. All Broncs BELONG programming extends through the fall semester, culminating in an awards banquet in early spring semester. - Rider Bonner Community Leaders Orientation
August 28-31 – New Rider Bonner Community Leaders participate in an orientation program prior to the first day of classes to introduce them to the meaningful impact they can make to address hunger, homelessness and adult literacy, and support at-risk youth through a variety of community service projects. Bonner Leaders receive scholarships to drive community service across their 4 years at Rider. Program open only to students accepted into Rider's Bonner Community Leaders cohort. - Rider Ramp Up
Dates TBD – This specialized program focuses on helping students with diverse socio-emotional needs navigate social interactions, understand social cues and develop positive behaviors through evidence-based practices, empowering them for a brighter future. - Business Living and Learning Community Early Move-In Program*
September 2-5 – First‑year students in the Norm Brodsky College of Business are encouraged to participate in the Business Living & Learning Community where they live together in Ziegler Hall and attend several of their first-year courses together, among other benefits. As part of the community program, students move in early and participate in a number of activities designed to help elevate their academic success, social confidence and overall well‑being during their first year.
