Orientation helps new students transition to life as a Rider Bronc. This fun and informative event offers opportunities to meet your classmates and prepare for a successful start to college life.

• Enrolled students only: Make sure you’ve confirmed your enrollment by submitting your deposit before registering for a session.
• International students: please visit the Office of International Education page for details about International Student Orientation and other important pre-arrival information for global scholars.

Important information

• Orientation is mandatory.
• Placement testing should be completed prior to Orientation if applicable. 
• Prior to your arrival on campus for orientation, students will be given access to our Canvas course, "Becoming a Bronc - Your Guide to Success," which includes important information about campus resources, policies, and expectations to ensure a successful start to your academic journey as a Bronc.
• Review the "New Student Check-List" below to ensure you are up-to-date with required tasks for new students.
