Eight boats stayed afloat during the third annual Team Leadership Challenge: “Navigating Your Path to Success” on April 15.

The renowned education services company selected Rider for inclusion in the newly released, third annual edition of its free downloadable book,"The Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges: 2012 Edition," which was released on April 17.

Not only do Dream Machine recycling kiosks improve on-the-go recycling, but the more cans and bottles that are recycled in a Dream Machine, the more PepsiCo will donate to support career training, education and job creation for post-9/11 U.S. veterans with disabilities. Legendary Broadway performer Ben Vereen will visit С����Ƶ’s Lawrenceville campus as part of a music theater and performing arts master class on Thursday, April 19.

More than 500 people of varied political stripes turned out to hear Republican strategist Karl Rove’s thoughts on the 2012 presidential election. Rove was a guest of Rider’s Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics.

Dr. Maureen Maguire ’75, a top ophthalmologist at the University of Pennsylvania, and Dr. Aaron Gast, trustee emeritus at the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation, will receive honorary degrees at Rider’s 147th Commencement ceremonies. Dr. Morten Lauridsen, Distinguished Professor of Composition at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, will be similarly honored at the Westminster Choir College ceremony.
