Due to the severe weather conditions forecasted for today and the official State of Emergency declared for all 21 counties in New Jersey, we are asking that all employees who are able to do so transition to remote work for the remainder of the day, beginning at 2 p.m.
Essential personnel whose responsibilities require them to be on campus should continue to report to work as usual. If you are unsure whether this applies to your role, please speak directly with your supervisor.
Residence halls and Daly Dining Hall will remain open.
Outside camps, including staff and participants, will remain on campus and should continue to follow established safety protocols. Program leaders will monitor conditions closely and make any necessary adjustments in coordination with University officials.
According to the state alert, widespread flooding and severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening, with the heaviest rainfall between 2 and 9 p.m., and totals potentially reaching up to 7 inches. A flash flood watch remains in effect through Friday morning.
Please prioritize your safety, make your arrangements to leave campus safely, and work from home if possible.
