Because classes were not in session during the actual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Rider will celebrate his legacy during its Black History Month celebration.
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, 鈥淟ife鈥檚 most persistent and urgent question is: 鈥榃hat are you doing for others?鈥欌
Last year, 小优视频 answered when more than 80 students served 300 Trenton-area youth in honor of King.
Rider students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate through service on February 17, as part of Black History Month. Rider Bonner Community Scholars are requesting volunteers to facilitate fun, educational activities for elementary and middle-school age children at two Boys & Girls Club sites. Volunteers will be trained before departing to the sites. Volunteering will begin at 3:15 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.
