Contributions support scholarships, The Rider Fund and important student initiatives
by Diane Cornell
小优视频鈥檚 Faculty and Staff Giving Challenge, All In, starts today, Feb. 4. Organized by University Advancement, the All In challenge is an important opportunity to support Rider students through a gift to any college, department, scholarship or initiative of one鈥檚 choice at the University.
鈥淓veryone who makes a gift sets a positive example of the importance of philanthropy to their coworkers and to our students, both now and as our students transition to become alumni,鈥 says Donna Green, senior director of development. 鈥淧articipation can be just as important as the size of the gift itself.鈥
Gifts can be made through payroll deduction or check or by visiting www.rider.edu/all-in-give.
鈥淚 cannot imagine a better place to work or a more important mission to support than what we do here,鈥 says Gabriella Hill, the associate director of philanthropy and parent engagement who is leading the All In initiative. 鈥淭hrough a gift or pledge, you deepen your already valuable impact on students by providing them with critical resources and you have the opportunity to enhance programs that mean the most to you."
The Giving Challenge will last nine weeks and the division with the highest participation will be recognized with an assortment of treats from The Gingered Peach, a local bakery, once the challenge concludes. In addition, faculty and staff who make a gift will receive an exclusive lapel pin.
鈥淭he generosity of faculty and staff in supporting Rider鈥檚 programs and the success of its students underscores our collective belief in the mission of the University, in the work we do here and the students we help educate,鈥 says Karin Klim, vice president of University Advancement. 鈥淚t sends a bold message to our alumni, our friends and our colleagues. I urge everybody to declare that they are All In by making a gift during this challenge.鈥
The All In Faculty and Staff Giving Challenge will run from Feb. 4 through April 8. Gifts can be directed to any area of the University. For more information, visit www.rider.edu/all-in.
