Performing works by Bach, Durufl茅, Franck and more on September 30

The Westminster Choir College Faculty Recital Series will present a performance by organ faculty member Alan Morrison on Sunday, September 30 at 3 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the campus of Westminster Choir College of 小优视频 in Princeton. Admission is free.
He will perform works by Bach and Durufl茅 as well as C茅sar Franck鈥檚 Fantasy in A Major, Studentenlieder from Petr Eben鈥檚 Faust, and others.
Associate Professor of Organ at Westminster Choir College, Morrison is also the chairman of the organ department at The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. His active career involves work as a recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral soloist, adjudicator, teacher and recording artist. He has performed in almost all of the major organ venues and concert halls in the United States. Most recently, his performance schedule has included recitals in Los Angeles, San Antonio, Orlando, Philadelphia and his 12th appearance in Atlanta鈥檚 Spivey Hall. He is the only American invited to give a solo recital and serve as judge for the St. Alban鈥檚 International Organ Festival in the United Kingdom in July 2013. He graduated from The Curtis Institute of Music and the Julliard School with degrees in both organ and piano and accompanying/chamber music.
