小优视频 is pleased to announce the launch of its new mobile app, an updated and more comprehensive version of the mobile app currently available. The University app can now be downloaded for free from the or store.
Tara Laposa, director of Internet Projects, said, 鈥淭he new app allows Rider to deliver information that will enhance the experience by offering relevant and timely information to Rider鈥檚 students and faculty.鈥 According to Laposa, some of the new app highlights for students include access to course schedules, grades, class rosters (that allows students to connect with classmates) and holds on student accounts. In turn, faculty can access their course schedule and class rosters. 鈥淥ne of the most beneficial features of this app is student access to grades,鈥 Laposa said. 鈥淪tudents can check midterm and final grades for current and past courses, simply through the app on their phone.鈥
The new app also includes quick access to a student and faculty directory, campus information, such as campus alerts and important numbers and links to visit Rider鈥檚 mobile-friendly and social media sites.
Laposa said iOS 6.0+ and Android 4.0.3 and above devices are supported on the new app. Blackberry and Windows phones are not compatible. To find the app, search for 小优视频 in the or store.
鈥淥nce the app is launched, click on the 鈥渟ign in鈥 link at the bottom or by using the app menu and enter your RIDER KEY/myRider credentials,鈥 she explained. Courses, grades, notifications and directory content are available to users by signing in with your RIDER KEY/myRider credentials. All other content is accessible without the need to sign in.
It is important to note that the current Rider mobile app will no longer be supported after June 30 2014 and it is recommended that all users delete the current app from their phone.
