Dr. Darryl Mace serves as 小优视频鈥檚 vice president of community engagement and belonging, bringing a distinguished record of leadership, scholarship, and strategic impact in higher education.
In this key role, Mace works to strengthen relationships across campus and with Rider鈥檚 broader external community, while fostering meaningful opportunities and experiences that bring students and others together.
He most recently served as the inaugural vice president for mission, diversity and inclusion at Alvernia University, where he established and led a division that integrated diversity, mission, and community engagement. His initiatives resulted in measurable gains in employee satisfaction, student retention, and national recognitions in interfaith leadership and civic engagement.
A historian by training, Mace earned his Ph.D. from Temple University with a specialization in race and gender in American society. He has published widely, including a book on Emmett Till and numerous academic articles. He is also a noted public intellectual and keynote speaker.
