The program on February 19 comprises “Umoja” by Valerie Coleman, “Trois Pièces” by Eugène Bozza, “Urban Ragas” by Till McIvor Meyn, and “Eight Folk Songs by” Cecilia MacDowell.

Jill Crawford has performed with the Trillium chamber ensemble, Moment’s Notice (a jazz ensemble), and various festival orchestras. She enjoys using a variety of flutes in a variety of styles, both contemporary and historic.

Ellen Fisher-Deerberg is the principal flutist of the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra and has been a member of the Westminster Conservatory of Music faculty since 2005.

John Lane, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, has lived in New Jersey since 2002. He loves teaching and performs throughout the region. He has also served the National Flute Association for nearly a decade in support of its competitions.

Katherine McClure began her career in Paris, and performed widely throughout France. Today she is principal flutist of the Riverside Symphonia, and is an active chamber and orchestral player in the Philadelphia and New York metropolitan regions.
